PLS help this fellow Adoptive Family

They had only been home about 4 weeks with their two babies, Elizabeth and Elijah, from Africa (not sure exactly where) when fire broke out in their home. The mom (Bless her.... I often wonder what I would do if disaster struck when dh was out of town and I only have 3), was alone with her 6 children when she smelled smoke and ultimately discovered the fire. They lost most everything. The inside of their home is gutted and most of their personal possessions have been lost. Including some special items one of the little ones received from her birthmom :(

And then (and sorry I may be getting some of these details incorrect) to add insult to injury, they lost their dog (unrelated to the fire) and one of their children had surgery for appendicitis within days of the fire. UGH....

How can you help? Friends of this family have approached Extreme Home Makeover with a plea to help this family.

Leave a message to show EHM that this family is supported by the community. I know we all dont know these folks but feel we have a connection, a bond.. as so many of us do in the adoption community. And if you dont feel comfortable leaving a comment, pls think good thoughts, say a prayer, do whatever you feel comfortable doing for this incredible family who seems to put so many others way before them. My server is giving me fits and my comment didnt go thru yet. So thought I'd post here for the few folks who still read!
