Merry Christmas!

As I had to fend off the children from 330 AM, I'll keep this short. Blogging seems to have taken a back seat to so much of late. Mostly really busy with the kids' school and Holidays. Having fun, but like most years, we all seemed to get sick this time of year and I seem to have that head cold that just won't go away! I think the Christmas tree isnt helping as I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to pine.

Have to apologize as I have 40 Holiday cards sitting on my desk. For the first time in forever, I actually had most gift buying for the kids done/stuff wrapped even a few weeks before hand, but that left me no time for making/sending a card. Well I did.. it's pretty bad, but will attach the pic I used to make it. Attempting to *quickly* after school.. get three kids re-dressed, happy, smiling etc for a quick photo shoot with no reinforcements (and in spite of blackmail :) :))... well... I was actually happy with the result but just not thrilled with the card. Anyway, I never got them out. Time just flew by... I may send off to family if you want... so pls let me know!

The kids got a Wii game from Santa and are having fun playing.. It' s an interactive video game, but one that you have to "get up and get active" for. You move the remote (which can go into a steering wheel) to "drive" or to shoot hoops, etc..... Gonna be fun!

Finally being let out of confinement (made em' wait til 6 AM, bad mommy person I am :)) And sorry, quality of photos is horrible.. have to fix in lightroom... this was my quickie fix for family

Hope everyone had a very
HAPPY THANKSGIVING:

Once again pathetically behind. Every Fall I feel this way, between the children's bdays, getting back into the school groove etc.

Our Thanksgiving was great. The kids' school put on a "Feast" on Wednesday and then the children were let out (Minimum day). I had shopped for the Feast the Friday before, attempting to find ways I can contribute to the school with little guy in tow. It's often hard to do the hands-on things at school so this was great. The "Feast " was awesome and food great.

Centerpieces

Placemats the kids made!

Andrew is sooo comfy at this school.... He loves going there. I swear I may have to break my long/fast tradition of NOT sending my Fall bday kids to school before they turn 5.. as I suspect he may really be ready... We'll see! If he goes in 3 years, Alex will be in 5th grade here, Ellie in 4th and he will be in K... All 3 in the same school! Hmmmm... is the school ready for us ?? :) :)

AND our Thanksgiving was ever so Mellow!

Good friends and a very peaceful day. Good friends here for h'ors d'ouevres and cocktails and dinner was mellow... Some cute pics from the day!

AND some pics from Thxgiving Weekend!

Doing his little "Happy dance"
And finally some other pics

Andrew loves hats.. REALLY loves hats. My aunt knitted this gorgeous sweater /hat for Alex long ago and Andrew has fallen in love with the hat (sweater too but likes to wear the hat several times a week) and here it is:

and then just a pretty pic of Ellie. She's been so great with my trimming her bangs of late which is so nice (not to have to pay $15 for a simple bang trim) and it's so nice to see her eyes!
